Cania Way
This was an overgrown vacant block of 1,334 sqm with a 1:4 slope (15m fall over 65m).
330 body trucks of soil were removed and 6m retaining walls were erected in 2 tiers, using 312 x 1.0 tonne concrete blocks.
House pads were prepared on 2 levels and retaining walls at the front of block were constructed in timber and rock.
Core landscaping was completed prior to house construction, to ensure advanced establishment of privacy, prevention of soil erosion, and the benefit of soft surroundings to complement an elevated view of a winding river.
