This suburban property on the bank of a creek was quite a challenge. It had a traditional style garden with high maintenance plants and a hard-to- negotiate sloping backyard.

 

We transformed it into a lush resort style hideaway with functional, low maintenance, modern plants.  The backyard was made usable by lifting and leveling the lawn in line with the entertainment area. 

 

The existing paving was refreshed, an undercover wood fired oven was created, and an automatic sprinkler system that can be operated and managed from a mobile phone application was installed.
 

Still to come - a waterfall feature on the rock wall and a private relaxing area with plunge pool, fire pit, stacked decks and resort style plants on the western side of the house.

 

All of this on a 612sqm block!
